Prior to establishing The Business Advisory/ The Tax Advisory, Inc. Ed had twenty-one years corporate experience at both the domestic and international levels in both the private and public sectors holding the positions of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Assistant General Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Operations, and Director New Business Development during that time which provided him with the experience necessary to serve his clients with a high level of competence.

Ed is a member of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and recently sat on its Home Based Business, Small Business, Strategic Marketing, Marketing and Small Business Week committees. Ed also reviews business plans for The Enterprise Centre.

In early 1983, Ed realized that the fastest growing segment of our economy was the small and home based business. He also realized that these Companies didn't have a lot of resources and if they were to succeed, they would require a 'sounding board' for their business problems and someone who could provide them with ideas for growing their businesses. Ed positioned his Company at an hourly rate equal to one-third that of many others and informed all his clients that they could pick up the phone at any time and discuss their particular problem without getting a bill thus encouraging clients to call and at the same time, keeping him abreast of what was happening within his clients' Companies.
